Yes - perhaps I let my hyperbole run away with me. However, it is Aspire Academies that I want closed down. They are an organisation which makes a profit on the misery of children.

Why?

Ive heard first hand accounts of the bullying, fear tactics and absolutely unprofessional ways of this school. So weird that the current government are heralding this academy as the future of schools, when in reality children have to walk the hallways in silence, mustn't be in groups of more than three at playtime and get sent home for not having a 30cm ruler, its almost like Cameron has an agenda concerning academies..... The 'outstanding' Ofsted report is highly suspicious also.

Teachers bully students! Disgraceful.

It has been a long time coming that their behaviour needed to be exposed but closing down the school is a bit extreme. All we need ,to keep a safe school for our children to learn without being in fear all the time , is a professional group of Senior leaders who actually care about the children and their families and want the best for them all without gaining it through fear, humiliation and intimidation. It's simple really. The children need a SLT in whom they can TRUST and so does the staff and families of all.

Frankly, this has been a long time coming. The SLT are arrogant bullies who have zero empathy with the children, parents and teachers. Look at the staff turnover numbers and the fact they can not fill teaching jobs there. There is regular abuse of staff and pupils, both verbal and physical. This school achieved 'outstanding' through a mixture of politics, manipulated data and fear. The place needs to be closed down with immediate effect.

SO IRONIC! Any child who puts their full name on this petition is being told off for filling it in! #Freedom-of-speach. Look at the SLT in any photo, their smiles are so fake!

Well its clear that mr heaps name keeps popping up a lot on here and 200 people are worried for a reason. i know for a FACT that he's been rude and is a rude person, I've heard him with my very own ears and i was shocked!

I know a few members of staff who have left this school for two reasons. Firstly they could no longer defend the way that students were treated and secondly it was a matter of self preservation. In both cases, the physical and mental well being of both parties was severely damaged. The pressure put on staff was unbelievable and this has a trickle down effect onto the students; there is a culture of fear which is actively encouraged by Mr Tutt, Mr Heap and Mr Adams. I have seen excellent teachers destroyed by this place- there is no concern from these members of SLT as their approach is to put pressure on them until they either go off with stress or leave. The knock on effect on the students is therefore detrimental. There is absolutely no regard for the individuals involved, just totally ruthless and obsessive management at the expense of all else. Teachers who are struggling are not supported as they should be but berated publicly and are regarded with contempt as a sign of weakness by the three afore mentioned SLT members. It is also widely acknowledged that staff have been actively encouraged to falsify results. Any teacher with any moral fibre struggles with the ethical issues this involves. In the community, nice families with great kids are dealing with the implications of this on a daily basis. The Schools Trust is aware that parents and teachers alike are very unhappy as they are receiving complaints from parents whose children were previously happy at the feeder schools and the Trust themselves has serious issues with this school. This whole debate needs to be blown wide open - students and teachers alike are terrified and it is time everything came to light. There are plenty of people who are now willing to speak out. There is strength and numbers and I sincerely hope this is fully exposed. Magna's reputation is now widely known; jobs are frequently advertised as staff turnover is so high but teachers will now not touch it with a barge pole. It is abo

Great teachers that support all children and their development must always be commended. That is naturally a key part of their care and emotional development.
