Hmmm! Like the other 'Government Academies' in Poole graded by Ofsted: Poole High - 'Requires improvement'; Carter Community - 'Requires improvement'; St Aldhelms - 'Special measures'. Anonymous - please at least do minimal research before contributing to this ridiculous petition, as should all contributors. I hope the school take legal action against certain named contributors for libel as it is clear that defamation of individuals, and Magna Academy as an organisation, has taken place.

You Sir are a joke, you dont even come from Poole, how dare you call us liers , why on earth would we go to these extremes for no good reason,to make a point YES... Faces with smiles, you are kidding right?? , go away and make some more rules up pathetic!!! shame on you!!! There are Parents afraid to sign this for fear of there children getting more bullied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does your child go to this school doubt it very much...... so whos making up story's..

I have a son at this school. What an appalling petition! You ought to be ashamed of yourselves Magna Parents. My son has received excellent support, both academically and pastorally, and as a result is making excellent progress. Some parents commenting on here, mostly parents of ex-students I would imagine, simply couldn't put up with the high standards set at this outstanding school and have sent their 'precious' children to a school with lower standards of which there are many to choose from in Poole. Other comments are obviously from people who are 'jumping on the band wagon' and are comments made without any evidence. This Academy was judged outstanding by Ofsted in June 2015 in ALL areas, including safeguarding. I witness every day students happily arriving at Magna and leaving after a day at school with the same happy smiling faces. The Senior staff on duty are nothing but helpful and caring. Shame on whoever started this poisonous petition!

Something has to change asap my 2 older boys went to this school before it changed,they had there ups n downs due to behaviour.Mr Adams was actually quite helpful back then!he's obviously spineless n follows Mr tutt.I,m hoping my 2 other boys will be going here also,one who has type 1 diabetes.But after the care etc they're not allowed I,'ll seriously be thinking about an alternative.

As a former pupil of the school I can testify that the teachers treatment of students and management of bullying is extremely poor

From reading the other concerns of other parents i am even more concerned that this is a wide spread problem in this school which needs to be addressed promptly before mire children are hounded and deeply affected. Whoever is in charge if this petition needs to ensure ofsted and if need be the media know about what is really happening in this school. Our children are the future. We dont want them to remember their important teenage years as hell in a school with bullies for leadership. Our children our future!!!

About time! We've been trying to get something done for a while!

I am concerned that my daughter is 12 years old and when she starts having periods for the very first time, she would not be allowed to go to the toilet between 8:40 and 11.

This school is becoming a disgrace

They need to do more about the bullying in that school and cut down on hanging a go at the students for not having the correct stuff and the thing about the ruler is a joke

Please note. This was set up as an open forum petition to gain support for the motion that the Duty of Care and safeguarding of the children at Magna Academy is poor and need addressing. What has become clear is that there is an abundance of concern which is shared by a wide range of stakeholders. There are due processes that need to be considered in such situations and all avenues remain open. As ever, Free Speech forms a key part of this but anyone reading the comments as listed should take their time to review the depth and range of feedback and not just the odd one here and there which may be seen as "headline grabbing". That is not what this is about. It is about a force for constructive supportive change that enables children, their carers, and all stakeholders at this school to feel confident about how they are embraced within the teaching and learning environment therein. We appreciate the ongoing feedback and remain deeply concerned.

Hello, my names George. Words cant explain how I feel about this school. We were told that it is 'outstanding', they even had the audacity to brag about their 'highly efficient' anti-bullying system. How on earth can they be talking about anti-bullying when they are bullying the students themselves. The ego of the MEN involved is solely based upon power. Noticed how I emphasised 'MEN'? I did that because from what I can hear, it is only the men that are the source of the issue. They are called 'SLT' (senior leadership team), in other words they are bullys who have Mr Tutts consent to 'patrol' the school and scare children. My DAUGHTER, yes my young girl who means everything to me, was recently diagnosed with Anxiety, specifically 'agoraphobia' - a condition caused due to constant stress of being bullied. She cant do anything now. She is scared to go to school, feeling sick to her stomach every single day. I try my best to cheer her up and make something exciting for her to look forward to after school, but it just isn't working. Lets do name and shame (as the school call it). Starting with Mr Tutt - the ring leader of this nasty behaviour the staff are acting. Then we have Mr Heap - he is a nasty, vile man who has nothing better to do that intentionally go out and seek for trouble (he really makes me feel sick). Mr Adams - from what I know, he has been there longer than both Mr Tutt and Mr Heap. He HATES the students, they have never seen him smile at all. He walks around slowly with his eyes squinting, looking for targets to pounce on. Thats just three of the SLT (there are way more). If I find that ANY of these men have screamed or shouted at my daughter, trust me they will understand whats its like to be publicly humiliated and bullied. Enough said, not putting up with it anymore. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! ITS A NASTY TRAP!
