I am a student in year 7 and feel as if I am being bullied......not by the students but by some of the teachers. This is not good for my education and I don't feel safe in this prison. I think it is horrific that the staff are treating us the way that they do and don't think that this is the way that they want to treat us.
At this school we are not allowed an opinion and get shouted at for not doing anything wrong and even answering questions. We are not even allowed to put our hands up in lesson!
This building is not a school it is a prison cell and this should by followed up by ofsted. This should not be the way that we should be treated when we are learning at school.
I would like to leave this school and my mum says if nothing changes she will move me as I'm not happy at all. I don't want to leave my friends but I feel really down all the time.
I know alot of my friends are not happy here either....i wish things were different!

This is dreadful, i had heard it was a strick school which is all well and good, but this is just wrong, please for god sake someone do something to help these children, do not allow your children to be bullied

Please visit the Ofsted Parentview website and add your views on the questions listed for Magna Academy. It is important that all feedback is added there on these questions. 2015/2016 is the year in which to register views.

My goddaughter was put into all day isolation for posting an irrelevant comment on her Instagram account.... Why were teachers looking on a childs instagram account..... Why be put into a days isolation for something outside of school?? And miss out on a days education... Her parents are not happy

I have thankfully left magna now but feel very sad for all the wonderful pupils there. They made my work at magna all worth while. Ok there are some challenging children that may need extra help and guidance, thats what we are paid for..... Yet adams, heap and tutt seem to have forgotten this.
They miss treat us teachers if we do not agree with them, and frankly, they are down right rude. They made many of us feel so uncomfortable at school we had to leave.
It seems to many that when these three individuals group together they behave as a tactical group of bullies and they make their targets life hell.
They need to either be investigated, have mental health assessments done on them and be retrained in child development and safety.....
They are not fit for purpose.
I'm recovering from their behaviour and I'm an adult. We were disgusted at their treatment of children and their families. Its neither logical, professional nor ethical.
They need to be removed from magna and a professional head and deputy put in their place.
If this doesn't happen more good teachers will be leaving.
We were warned about this petition and told not to have anything to do with it, but I'm not in the school now so i can voice my opinion and i do agree with most of what has been said

Students are bullied by the teachers. Students also get put in isolation for ridiculous things!!

our 2 boys were always picked on by mr adams. we had so many meetings with him and mr tutt but they sticked together i then said i am willing to go to the police about mr adams bullying and harassment of our children and in so many words was told if i did our kids would receive less marks to there final grades . it was my partner that told me to leave it and i did, for her, but this school is run like a military dictatorship.

the way that teachers treat students is pathetic, mister heap just bullies the children into doing things that they dont want to, and miss weir just has a go at them non stop and sends them out if they do the slightest thing wrong

So my child comes home today and tells me they had a foreign supply teacher in class who unfortunately couldn't speak clear English. Then my child asks the teacher if they could be excused to go to the toilet. The supply teacher had to check with a regular teacher.... Who asked no questions but blatantly said NO!! And pointed to my childs chair ordering them to sit down.....
What the hek is going on here.....where are all the brilliant new teachers which were drafted in over the summer holiday to boost the schools learning achievements??? AND....
Why does my eldest child have to take an exam in a subject they don't want nor need as there is no IT teacher to do the IT computer course they need for college... Instead we've spent an hour in college arranging a two year course which should have been taught in school if they'd had the right teacher.....

Mr Tutt was giving out certificates today and was getting muddled up because HE DIDNT KNOW ANY OF US BY NAME OR BY FACE.... Everyone in magna thinks the same.... Why do we have a headmaster who doesnt know us and doesn't care.... It would be laughable but we don't really think its funny...! Maybe he IS here only for the money

As a parent of a child bullied by this school, now suffering with anxiety,he's struggled to go to lessons. Magna took the easy option. Phone mum she can take him home, he's making the place look untidy.has he trashed the school? Nope, has he sworn at the staff in anger? Nope. Is he just an anxious wreck caused by a catalogue of events at magna? Hell yes. Have they met his welfare needs? Not a hope in hell.
Numerous times this term he's been sent home, unauthorised absence they say, we will exclude him countless times, they say, we will make sure your hobby suffers, they did just that, they forgot to inform attendance officer my son had missed school.. Oops magna you seem to have made a crucial error here. We will set him homework for his exclusion, they said... I'm still waiting for it...
Please ensure work is completed and returned promptly, they said.. I'm still waiting..
Magna the aspirational academy, with no heart... The joke? You now need to sit an entrance exam...

I can't believe if the children are put in isolation for forgetting a book they get marked down as non attendance therefore it hinders their 100% attendance!!! Whats the point of that.... No wonder the children don't want to go in

Good luck to mr clarke and all the nice teachers who are leaving ..... We will really miss you.....its such a shame that u r all going...... It should have been heap, adams and tutt that has left ..... Today was a sad day at school... :0(

They have their "Celebration Assembly" today where they get told if they have gone up out down in their sets, Shame the students call it the "Relegation" assembly as all their names are read out in front of all to hear how good or bad you are! Public humiliation!
