Anyone who thinks this is good for the community has never lived in an area of this type of facility. There are multiple NEGATIVE impacts, not only for the environment (water/air), but also crime, housing, schools, etc. Anyone thinking this is good, for the job market. Think again. These are NOT pleasant, high wage jobs. Turn over is phenomenal, and the type of laborers it ends up drawing actually puts a strain on the local economy, rather than enhance it. Don’t be fooled by those whose primary goal for support of this is their bottom line. They have no concern or investment in the beauty that Montana is, and they will ultimately destroy it.

This is project is bad for Cascade County and Central Montana. This level of industrial activity is regressive economic development and will be an impediment to growing a positive community-economy and improving livability. Tell your friends and get involved to stop this monstrosity. This project will lead to economic decline.

PLEASE! Be responsible and consider the widespread negative implications on nearly every facet of our lives here in Great Falls and the surrounding areas. Just because we can, doesn’t mean we should.

When the lagoons overflow or fail, the waste will travel across the county via Sand Coulee Creek. This creek empties into the Missouri just south of Great Falls. The waste will then flow through town. That's going to make for some wonderful aromas while living and recreating. I'm sure residents and tourists alike will love it!

Please know all the facts before you turn the Last Best Place into the Dirty Big Sky. Public health and environmental impact hould be number one priorities.

Big mistake if we let this happen in our community!

This will ruin the water and land values forever. While I live 90 miles away, I would not want this anywhere near me and my family. Prefer to support local ranchers by buying my beef directly from the ranch.

This is not what our community needs. The cost to the environment is too great.

The environmental risks to our water, air and land as well as the social impacts of decreased property values, increased crime, and decreased tourism are far too great. An EIS must be done.

You only need to look at the slaughter houses in the midwest to see what an environmental disaster this would be.

As a homeowner and active participant in this community, I ask that all due diligence, such as an accurate and thorough EIS, is completed and fairly considered before this project moves along any further. Please listen to the desires and protect the good of the people of Cascade County and Montana.

This will forever change the Great Falls area and does need to have this study. Low paying jobs will not help our area.

I am indeed asking for an environmental study. I am totally against the proposed slaughter/processing plant.

I strongly support this call for an environmental impact study.

Once large slaughterhouses entrench themselves into a community, it’s near impossible to get them out. And the quality of life in those communities significantly declines. This would be an absolute disaster for Great Falls.

Please demand and environmental impact study and stop the Madison Food Park from getting their claws into the state of Montana! Support local suppliers not industrial farming!

Without a complete study of the impact the slaughterhouse would have on the future growth of Great Falls and surrounding communities, no major decisions should be allowed.
