My greatest childhood holiday memories involved visiting the rotating display - the repetitious display is a really lame excuse to just not spend more money - even if you picked 5 and just rotated every year on a 5 year cycle. So lame and lazy what you are doing nwo!

I had been going to the 8th floor Macy's for over 32 years and then stopped once they started doing the same boring display year after year. Please change it to make Macy's part of my families holiday tradition, just like it had been when I grew up!

We love Macy's 8th floor Christmas production, but would love it even more if it changed once in a while.

Please, Macy's. The 8th floor display has been my family's tradition for over 40 years. My grandmother, mother, me and my children span four generations that once cherished this tradition. We are willing to pay a small fee to attend. Bring back the magic. PLEASE! Imagine the Thanksgiving Day parade in NY. What if it were exactly the same for the past six years? Would you start to wonder if you were even going to tune in? I would.

A fond childhood memory and tradition of my family that I would like to see brought back to the level of variety and Creativity it once had.

Some of my best memories are going to the 8th floor of daytons to see such greats as the polar express and velveteen rabbit. I want that same experience for my own kiddos, complete with the best gingerbread man cookies ever!

I'm all for making things a "tradition". But changing it up is only going to bring in more people. Either way change it or not, I'm hair glad it's still here.

The tradition I remember is the anticipation what would be this year's surprise--not the same ole, same ole every year.

How much money did elf on the shelf dish out for that deal? :-(
Macy's, if you really believe that you created a unique and new tradition, then you dont know minnesotans and you need to show yourselves the door, please and thank you!

I miss the excitement that always came with waiting to see what they had come up with, and am saddened that my kids have never experienced that same feeling!!
