I would love to see a different show come back to Macy's. It's definitely time to change it.

This WAS a family tradition...until the display didn't change. Now it's just same ol' every year so we stopped going.

Harry Potter, The Wizard of Oz, etc. We looked forward to the yearly reveal of what the 5th floor would be changed to. Now we haven't returned since 2008. If you've seen it once, then that's all you need.

Bad enough holidazzel is gone. Can we keep the 8th floor tradition as it should be??? I grew up going to Daytons holiday display. Change the theme every year as it always has been done. You cant come buy out a local store and ruin the traditions it had in place for 30plus years. Daytons 8th floor and holidazzel are Minneapolis staples. Quit taking it from our future generations.

Since this has been a repeating display, I have stopped bringing my family there every year.

My husband and I started going to the display with another couple in the 90's. We had lunch, bought dusting powder for my grandma, later a Christmas outfit and chocolates for the kids. Then the Holidazzle parade. We went every year. We went again when Macy's took over. The third year our kids asked if it was going to be the elf thing again. When I said yes, they said they didn't want to go. So ended our tradition.

My husband and his family went to the holiday display every single year growing up, and we began taking our kids every year, a tradition that has now abruptly stopped. If the reason for having the display is for the kids, the kids don't care to see the same thing every year. We have stopped going, and thus we have stopped buying the cookies every year, stopped buying ornaments every year, and stopped bringing our Christmas shopping to downtown Minneapolis every year.

This has been a holiday tradition with my children and now my grandchildren. But no need to go any longer when it is the same display. We would definitely come back to a new display.

Please bring it back. Every year since I was born, my parents would take us. It was so much fun. I wanted to continue thst tradition with my children as well

I went to Daytons display with my kind from 1984 to the last year an to two years of life of an elf. I always looked forward to the creativity of the display each year. It's boring when it's the same. Please also let me say that you could offer an INEXPENSIVE treat at the end. We are usually in a group of 12 to 15. I am not spending $60 for cookies. Provide a small treat for $10 -$15 a dozen and you will get more sales

I'd still go every year if it changed to different themes. I'm 27 and don't have kids, my friends and I really enjoyed it before.

I grew up going to this. It was such a magical and fun tradition that I looked forward to every year. We have continued to do this with our own children now, but they don't want to go anymore because it's the same thing year after year. Please bring it back to different themes each year. This would be so magical for this young generation of children and give them such wonderful memories. Bring it back!!

I use to work in the cookie shop and loved seeing the new display each year! Now that I have a family I'd love to being them to experience the different stories each year. It would be boring to see the same one over and over and quickly be a faded tradition

Please change it yearly! My fondest memories are seeing what the new theme is as a child and now sharing it with my child.

You could change it and then charge a little bit. :)

Not back by popular demand. As a child I could not wait to see the 8 th floor display. Sadly now I haven't been back in years. No more yearly family tradition.
