Yes I agree it needs to be changed we haven't seen it since the first year The Life Of An Elf one was there!

I have memories of this since I was about 8. i have been taking my family since they were little. I never miss it....

This used to be a holiday tradition for our whole family (including extended). Since it has been the same for years! We no longer spend the day shopping in Macy's and seeing the floor. We don't go downtown to eat.

As a kid growing up with the wondering of what it was going to be every and the fun discovery and seeing the new displays. Keep the tradition going something new every year. So my kids can say the same thing to there kids.

I grew up going to Dayton's 8th floor. It was great. It was a different story every year. I couldn't wait to see what each year would bring. I still went as an adult with no kids to see the different stories.

We loved the Macy's display. It a reason to head downtown w the whole family and enjoy a holiday filled celebration. Would love it if I could continue that tradition w our own children now...

My family always went to see the 8th floor together; all aunts and uncles, nieces, grandparents and parents. It was our highlight of the holiday season and a "must" on the list of things we could and should do during that time of year. I am at that age now where I'm thinking about having kids of my own, and I would love to pass down this tradition to my children. It is a great way to teach young ones the spirit of the holidays and importance of family and loved ones during that time. PLEASE bring back this tradition along with the promise for newness each year so I myself and my children can look forward to going each year again. And if it's a matter of money, I work for another retail corporation and know first hand there are other expenses that can easily be sacrificed for the sake of your customers. That's why you're in business right, Macy's? Your customers are why you're here, so it would be a great gesture to them by bringing the Macy's 8th floor experience back with a new and fresh outlook!

I've been going to the 8th floor holiday displays since the early 80's. It's been an evolving family tradition that started with my parents bringing me there as a child, and we've loved going with them as adults (followed by brunch and shopping). Since the display stopped changing, we've stopped going (no shopping either). Please reinstate the changing themes!!

I realize a new theme every year is expensive. Even if they rotated themes every few years, it would be better than doing the same one every year.

No one wants to see the same exact thing every year! It was much more exciting when it changed yearly, and everyone I have asked has told me they also stopped going because they are bored of the elf theme. This is turn causes less shopping st Macy's around the holidays, so it would be a great business decision to change the display every year as incentive for shoppers to come!

As a little girl I was fortunate enough to attend several of the 8th floor holiday events & loved seeing the new "theme " each year. Now that I have children, I would love for it to be different every year..why not Frozen?..how big would that be? & how beautiful! I support to change it, please!

Please change your display. We have stopped attending and since stopped shopping at the store. Please please we would like to come back.

What happened to all the old displays? Why couldn't you have just rotated them? A day in the late for of an elf isn't even a story we recognize. Please bring back the original tradition!!

It was wonderful taking our children to see what was showing, Please put it back. I feel that anyone of us would be willing to even pay a small fee to see it.

Please change the display. We have no reason to continue our Downtown excursion when the theme is the same year-after-year.
