Macy's Minneapolis 8th Floor Holiday Display: Change It Again

Please change the display! The 8th floor display is a tradition with my parents and it was always exciting to find out what the new display was. It's not the same if the same display repeats year after year.

I grew up with a new display every year and stood in an hour long line every year when I was little, having my parents take me through Harry potter . Elves and the shumaker and many others...I want my children to have a similar experience...not a one time shot and never go back. Please bring back the changing displays

Don't be cheap!

I don't shop at Macy's because they don't change the 8 floor. I have attended this since 1963,. Attended it every year with by husband and children. It was always a family tradition until it stopped changing. Macy's you can afford to mix it up. Find a sponser if you are too cheap to do it yourself.

Put away that tired display! You still have the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in NYC. Why don't you celebrate the Christmas Season here in MN as we had before you came?

I have been going to this display since I can remember I am 32 and I have kept the tradition with my children and the excitement of the new display is what we loved. I won't be coming this year with the change of the holidazzle to this money making sale booths and the same old display. Please consider changing it sometime soon

I want to go and bring my child. I enjoy it when they change it so it can be a tradition for my family.

The 8th floor display has been a tradition in my family since I was a little girl. I dreamed of sharing this tradition with my children. Now, it's the same display every year! You are losing money because people who would have come every year and would have spent money in your store will now come less frequently because it's the same display every year. Please bring back this tradition!!!

We as Minnesotans look forward to seeing the display at Macy's, but not anymore since they have no creative juices to change the display every year as was the tradition with Daytons. Please change the display yearly and more people will come.

If you don't change it, you will lose customers. We want a different story every year! Bring back tha change!!!

This is not a tradition, it is tired and old. Bring back the magic!

PLEASE change the display, give us back some variety!

It's time.... Bring the Wizard of Oz one back. That one was AWESOME!!! Or A Christmas Carol....

Change the display! I think people would even pay a couple bucks to see new displays!

Ive been doing this every year since I was a kid, but the elf is getting boring. If it is the elf again this year, it will be my last year, sadly

Please change the display! We loved going downtown year to see something new but what is the point of going downtown this year to see the same old thing.

I would like for my children to experience the excitement and wonder of a new display like I got to enjoy as a child.

It was always tradition growing up to leave the suburbs and head to the big city for a day of Christmas shopping and the 8th floor Holiday display at Daytons. I waited for that moment every year. I'm sad that I can't experience it with our children's generation. Tradition is dead. Thanks for killing my childhood Macy's. CHANGE THE DISPLAY!

Come on Macy's bring the magic back to 8th floor.
