Please change the display!!! My little guy has seen it 4 times and is now bored with it saying "we've already seen this. We were here last year. I wanna do something else..'

Show the sprit and creativity that's part of your heritage. Bring back the wonderful holiday displays that generations of Minneapolis shoppers love and look forward to every year!

When I was little my parents would take my siblings and I to the display at Daytons and then Marshall Fields every year. I remember it being such a special day and we loved seeing the different displays every year. Some of my favorites included Patington Bear and Eloise at Christmas. I have never have seen a day in the life of an elf. When it was changed to Macy's we stopped the yearly tradition. The theme just didn't seem special enough. It's sad that is hasn't changed. I miss the old themes and how they changed every year.

My mom took me and my sister to the 8th floor every year since 1985, and I always said I would carry on the tradition of bringing my own children. Well, now that it's the same theme every year, there's really no point in going more than once or twice. I have great memories of seeing Pinocchio, Velveteen Rabbit, Santa Bear, Night Before Christmas, Mary Poppins and my favorite of all, Polar Express. The Elf theme is very cute, but listen to the people, and read about our memories. Most of us are hoping and wishing for a change. Bring back the magic of the 8th floor!

I have been visiting the eighth floor Christmas exhibit for 17 years now with all four of my children. I do have to say I am disappointed that you have not changed the theme since you took over. We look forward to the new theme each year please bring that tradition back.

Children even recogniZe it is the same thing. There is no mystery or magic in that! Why would I keep coming back to see the same thing?!

Macy's needs to get it together and tap into our community's incredible creative pool to create NEW 8th floor display! Enough with the elves already!

I will no longer visit Macy's during Christmas, as there is zero point with it being the same display every year. Not. Worth. It.

Change it up every year. if you do the same thing every year people lose interest. It was a family tradition to go to the 8th floor and look at the display. We stopped doing it since it's the same thing every year. Boring!

Anticipating how the stories would come to life was the best part of this tradition as a kid! Now that I have my daughter, I want her to know that excitement, too. Change the display!

Please!!!!! I won't go again- it was a beloved childhood memory that I then did with my kids- but not worth an hour wait or even 15 minute wait to see the same old set again

We've stopped attending every year, because it's the same thing. It used to be a yearly tradition and now it's gone by the wayside. We would love to see the display changed every year!
