Please bring back this awesome tradition. I know Macy's is worried about losing money, but really with all of the families that go to this, we are already looking for gift shopping. You are bringing customers in. The whole family goes out to see this! We miss it, please bring it back.

I heard Macy’s stole all the animatronics from Minneapolis and brought it to New York. Now we need Dayton’s and local business leaders and Chamber to bring back the 8th floor auditorium. It has been an incredible loss.

Please bring back the changes each year. It was a holiday tradition. Now we never go. It's the same old stuff thing.

where did all the other stuff go anyway, the display show used to have people waiting four floors long to get in!

They'd get a ton of new business if they changed it up after staying the same for so long. It'd really be in their best interest to invest in something new.

Simply put, I loved this tradition as a kid, and now that I have a little girl of my own, I want her to have the same magical experience as I did. Kids need more than TV today!!!!!

It would be nice if they finally changed the 8th floor display again!! It's been the same for years now!

So sad that this childhood tradition has been eliminated in favor of cost savings- even if the display changed every two years, it would keep customers interested and bring back the joy of the display.

I quit going to the elf display. It became too much of a disappointment and an insult to the past beautiful displays I remember in my childhood. Kids deserve more than that... they deserve more inspiration to feed their imaginations than the Santa wonderland.

Live of an Elf is SOO boring now. The tradition of going there is about to be a thing of the past of it doesn't change....

I used to make the trip to town each year with my boys, now I want to share the magic with my grandkids but make it worth the trip and why no peanuts her? after all Schultz created them here maybe the display in NY can come here next year

We used to wait all year to see what the theme was...it's disappointing that it's the same year after year now. PLEASE change it up!!!!
