The Class of 2021 has endured many hardships in the pursuit of completing their Master's of Accounting degree. Not only have the graduates successfully completed their degree requirements, but they have also all done so during a global pandemic against insurmountable odds. Graduates became hopeful once NC State announced they would have an in-person commencement ceremony. However, that optimism was deflated once the school announced that graduates would not be individually recognized for their accomplishments since no names will be called and no students will be able to walk. One thing is for certain, and that is that these graduates DESERVE to be individually recognized and applauded by their peers. One way in which this can be accomplished is through a socially distanced hooding ceremony for the 2021 MAC program graduates. Those who sign this petition are in favor of an in-person hooding ceremony to acknowledge the achievements of these graduates. Please support us in celebrating this year's MAC graduates!
