A real shame if this beautiful, magnificent work can't be reinstated to its original, unimpeded positioning. Please honour your contract.

I would urge LBH to please return this work to its original context by removing the surrounding earth, and honouring the original contract details. Would LBH pile earth against a bronze statue of Jules Pipe, heaven forbid there was such a thing?

This work of art has been a landmark from which I have used to describe my home area and I had often stopped and talk to the climbers who use the boulder. Since this landscaping the boulder is no longer a focal point to orientate to and use as a land mark, it also hidden for discovery by new potential climbers and I have seen a dramatic decline in its use. I agree that this landscaping is detrimental to the art work and it's use for the local community. I am very happy to lend my support further.

The intention of the artist should be fully respected and the area around the artwork restored to enable the sculpture to be viewed as intended and also to perform its original purpose as a rock to climb. It is very disappointing this information was not made clear to the landscape designers at the outset.

What Hackney Council has done (maybe without realising it) is tantamount to defacing the canvas on which this work of art has been painted. It needs to be restored.

Please can you return the landscape around the boulder to its original level, so that the boulder can be continued to use for climbing as the original artist intended.
Thanks

Why? Why the re-landscaping? What budget were you trying to burn before the end of the fiscal year?
