M7 Death Trap

I agree, trucks should use specific lanes to travel on the M7

I'm literally fed up with the law for not imposing a stricter driving policy on the M7. I had a few times had to witness some horrific accidents and the loss of innocent human lives. If the law was strict in our area and carried out their proper duties, we would feel safe traveling on our highway. These truckers have no mercy on how recklessly they drive. WE NEED THE AUTHORITIES TO DO THEIR JOB!!!

More law enforcement officers to be stationed on this road 24/7 to deter drivers from speeding and conduct checks on vehicles.

They need to stop the trucks going so fast and check the drivers too

I travel on the M7 daily. Heavy vehicles often taking up all lanes, disregarding the compulsory stop at Belville bridge, speeding downhill towards the N2 and often not roadworthy as there are many breakdowns often on the numerous blind corners. Road surface is in poor condition with potholes and wash away in places.

Safer driving on this road

There are just too many accidents on all roads because of lack of law enforcement. And people disregard the rules of the road, which should be enforced

Something needs to be done

It is about time the M7 is prioritized. Trucks drive at excessive speeds and have blatant disregard for other motorists. The transport dept must enact and enforce laws where motorists change their headlights and have installed fogs and spit lamps blinding other drivers. The maintenance of the M7 has been ignored for years. Simple grass cutting is benefitting some contractor who is there to make a quick buck. There is no pride. The installation of an arrester at teh bottom of the m7 should be considered and the truck shop for 16tons enforced. Of recent is the taxis who choose to stop anywhere on the M7.

Definitely need to improve , repair and maintain our M7 and ramps for safety of all! Critical action required !

Lost my son at age 19 due to incompetent driving of another. Yes these truck drivers lack serious awareness of the responsibility of safely driving these monster trucks combined with heavy loads.

Please upgrade M7.

I'm a regular M7 road user and these trucks cause alot of havoc on the roads. The Basic Laws and Rules of the road are:- 1. Trucks with trailers and horses should be driving on the 3rd lane as they have a certain required speed to drive. 2. Learner and slow drivers drives in the second lane. 3. This that drives 120km should be driving in the fast lanes. Should u feel scared to drive on the roads pls drive on the 3rd lanes so that u will not be pressured and start to panic then u pit dead brakes and stop. This cause traffic to come to a stand still. Pls start to be a cautious driver and let's saves lives.

Heavy duty truck are a big problem. They do not stop and engage in low gear dow hill. All truck should only use slow lane.

The M7 needs a better lighting, The M7 needs cat eyes. The construction work is taking to long to finsh.

Kzn Road Traffic was always visible on the M7. Do they still exist. Never see their cars on the roads
