Trucks drivers are the biggest culprits but absolute ignorance by provincial law enforcement of the ongoing disaster is an absolute joke. Traffic authorities do what you get paid to do.

Trucks are speeding down the M7 with no regard to rules and speed limits.Trucks are seldom stopping at designated speed breaks especially near the Bellville offramp .Trucks are travelling on fast lanes .

I am very happy to hear that this petition is being addressed. My husband was at At the robot below the N2, M7 intersection when a truck ame down the M7 towards the Bluff plugged through him in his work Van and 2 other vehicles, landing on its side under N2 Bridge on on comming lane. We were never advised of the outcome as to what caused this accident if truck lost its breaks or was speeding. We are lucky my husband is alive and no one was seriously hurt or killed. The truck in question did not have any sinage as it seems to be on purpose so you cannot sue them when they break the rules. This accident was 23/10/2023 at 10 am. It was so bad they had to close the M7 from 10am till after 8pm. I realy hope this petition makes a huge difference and I will be forwarding it to all I know to sigh too.

I travel this road every day. It is literally gambling with your life. This road is in adequate to handle the amount of trucks that travel on it. Please help keep us all safe.

I have written to government officials, newspapers etc for years regarding this issue and nobody takes any notice. Queensburgh ranks very low on all their radars because we are a working/middle class suburb and not wealthy.

All government departments (particularly the police) continually complain they don't have enough money. Cameras on the M7 would not require manpower, would reduce accidents and raise funds.

Speeding cars and trucks. Disregard for the law and safety of other road users. Exit number 12 to Mosley and Malvern many motorists are using the painted island to cut into traffic. A patrol inspector should be stationed here to ensure that everybody follows the queue.

Totally agree, something needs to be done as traffic especially trucks needs to be addressed rather sooner than later.

The sooner the better. I stopped using the treacherous road 5 years ago due to the accidents
