I spent the whole study hall today just staring at the clock because it takes forever to even get through the line at the cafeteria and then the bell rings before I can even finish my sandwich. People keep coming up to me in the hallways saying they feel the exact same way about being completely exhausted by the time third period rolls around. I am trying to figure out who to talk to next because this cannot be the way we spend our entire year.

I was just staring at the screen and honestly it feels like the whole school is finally on the same page about how fast those thirty minutes disappear. It is wild seeing everyone agree that we deserve to actually chew our food without rushing to beat the bell.

why do we sit in class at day for almost 2 hours and only 30 mins for lunch. technically only20-15 because by the time I get my food it’s almost time to leave. then teacher will mark you when your late.
The lines make it so I can’t see my friends or that by the time I get to the table there is almost no time left for eating and socializing
Make sure u have a teacher to back this up.

the long lines are overwhelming, and it’s hard to be able to sit down and enjoy lunch when u spent 75% of time in the line, which is why we need a longer lunch. If we stay to eat after the long period is over, not all teachers are understanding, causing us to be marked as late, or sent to get a late pass
