This is absolutely stupid that I can't enjoy myself at school anymore because with a 6 hour day I get a 15 minute break to just talk with friend.. Ha and you are really teaching great social skills...

There's really nothing that can be achieved in at twenty minute study hall. And having eating cut into regular classes wastes time. Switch the lunch.

20 Minutes of lunch isn't enough time to eat and socialize. For the band kids we have to walk down at hallway where there's classes going on and 285 band members shouldn't walk down a hallway. teachers are slamming doors closed.

I feel like when each class graduates and looks back on what has changed since, it just seems to get worse and worse each year. As far as I'm concerned, this place never has and never will have their priorities straight. This school easily became the most unwelcoming, least realistic four years of my life, and I am so happy I am now able to move on. Keep your heads up- it really does get better after graduation!!!

As we all have to seem to agree on, 20 minutes is definitely not a lot of time to eat food during school hours. The next thing we need is someone choking on food trying to get to their studyhall class because they solely do not have the time to eat. Although this is a problem, we need to handle this like adults. No more outbursts/riots in the lunches. lol

Personally, unlike my peers, I think that 20 minutes is the perfect amount of time to have for lunch! With the old, 40 minute lunches, I almost felt too relaxed! School isn't supposed to be for relaxation, which is why I fully support the new, stressful, 20 minute lunches. It fits in perfect with the rest of my stressful day at school! Apart from that, with the old 40 minute lunches, I felt like I had to waste my time, finding things to do, to fill up the 40 minutes. With our new 20 minute lunches, if I want enough time to eat my lunch, I have an excuse not to go to the bathroom anymore! Now I get to avoid THAT nastiness! I don't even have the time to go to the drinking fountain anymore, which I am sure glad of! Who wants to wash down an empty stomach with brown water? Thank god those days are long gone! And besides, since the administration/teachers get double the time for lunch than we do, hopefully their full stomachs keep them nice enough to allow us to eat during their classes! 20 minute lunches here we come!

There really isn't time to eat and decide if you want more food or not. There also isn't enough time to get work done in 20 minutes. It's a waste of time and what If I have to go to the bathroom? I guess we aren't allowed to do that...

At my school, we get an hour for lunch reguardless of schedule. As a former Brecksville student I'm shocked and upset to hear how my friends and family can barely eat lunch without have to uncomfortably rush themselves.

20 minutes is not enough time to enjoy a meal..by the time you even get there from your other room and get food from line you have 10-15 min to rush to finish

20 minutes is definitely not enough time for lunch. If students buy their lunch, there may be a long line and by the time they get to the table, they won't have enough time to eat. 20 minutes is also not enough time to socialize with friends and get homework done during one of the few periods in the day when you don't have a class.
