Luis Rodriguez was shot and killed on November 1, 2007. He was shot twice. The person who shot Luis, Ryan Berendt, was taken into custody and he admitted to shooting Luis. Ryan admitted to getting into his car, taking out a gun, getting out of his car and shooting Luis not once, but twice, in cold blood. Ryan claims that he was acting in self-defense. Luis was unarmed and he was about 6-8 inches shorter than Ryan. Furthermore, Ryan had told several people that he wanted to kill Luis because he was a \"spic\". Ryan is free!
