Having moved from Lubbock (where i started playing disc golf) down to the Hobbs and now Lovington, it amazes me that there is little to no support for the City of Lubbock when it comes to disc golf. The City of Hobbs and City of Lovington have done and continue to do an amazing job assisting and support the Stateline Disc Golf club and the growth of the sport all together. I really hope the City of Lubbock steps up and gets in line with the club to push this great sport we all love.

I don't understand why we must go to such lengths just to have our city support the existence and growth of our sport, when other cities are on board from day one, But I personally am willing to step up to whatever is needed to gain that respect and support from the city of Lubbock. Show us some love city council !

Lubbock should be proud of it’s sports heritage. The city should support Disc Golf the same as it supports all other sports in our community.
