This pettiton's cause is to start an annual game between Liberty University and Old Dominion University in football (and potentially basketball). With both schools being in close proximity as Virginia Universities, and both being the only two GO5 FBS schools in VA, it would be a fun annual rivalry in football. The difference in culture and atmosphere between the two schools plus the recent tension over recent football results only adds fuel to the fire for this rivalry. Both fan bases would love to see these great universities go head to head annually in football and basketball. Not only would it produce fun competitive games, but it would give both fan bases a sense of school pride and excitement with a new annual rivalry game each year.
