By signing this petition, I submit that I support the start-up of the proposed Leadership Preparatory Academy of Engineering and Science. I understand that the proposed Leadership Preparatory Academy of Engineering and Science will be a tuition-free charter high school that will open in August 2014. The proposed high school will serve students in Lithonia and the surrounding communities of Stone Mountain, Decatur, Lilburn, and the DeKalb County Public Schools System. The school’s mission will be to provide an individualized high school learning experience that ensures all students achieve at high levels while developing the skills needed to be successful in the 21st Century.
