Reduced Rates for Two Wheeled Vehicles-Motorcycles

Any reasonable person would expect a lower rate. I never use the tolls when on my bike because of the high rate.

If you go by wear & tear to the road, it should be even less than 1/2 of the car rate.

The service of mobility is not hindered by motorcycles, If more drivers of cars rode motorcycles there would be more mobility on your toll roads. The real reason storey does not want to reduce the toll for bikes is because he knows we will pay it just like it is. If the toll were less for bike, they might lose a dollar from all the cagers riding.

I completely agree with this petition.

Encouraging motorcycle use is an excellent way to reduce wear and tear on our public and private roads. It reduces maintenance costs, fuel costs, and congestion.

Equivalent use; equivalent toll. If six wheels is worth twice as much as four; two wheels is worth half as much as four. My commute today costs $9.50 a day in tolls and $5 a day in fuel- and only half of the 30 miles is tolled!

Motorcycles are an extremely efficient means of transportation for one person, as most people on the planet have discovered. How about providing a little incentive for those are doing their part.

Toll for motorcycle should be half of two axle car. Takes up less space.

Even the HOV LANES are free for motorcycles

If vehicles that have more wheels than 4 have to pay extra, it only seems fair that vehicles with two pay less..

Please reduce the fees for Motorcycles. We are not wearing on the road as much as a 4-wheeled vehicle. We save on gasoline and are responsible riders. Thank you!

I do have to wonder about the service comment. If the issue is service not wear and tear than you could argue that 18 wheelers should be priced the same as autos. It is the same service they receive. I would think the biggest issue with service are the people that don't have ez tags and sit in the line to pay. More eztags less service personal. It is not complicated.

I currently take the HOV lane on my bike. If tolls weren't so expensive, I would take that route instead to save a little time.
