The messages I have received from students who broke down after that exam are absolutely heartbreaking. I am compiling these accounts to show the board that this was not a fair test of our knowledge. We need them to see that this paper destroyed the confidence of everyone who worked so hard to prepare.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one left feeling completely demoralized by this paper. It means everything to see so many of you speaking up because this result feels like a direct hit to the future I have been working toward.

This paper was hard as hell. And why were all the hard questions 5-6 marks And why were there more math questions and less explaining question
Overly high grade boundaries for a subject as though as this are taking a toll on students, making them work harder than their capacity and still be left with low academic esteem and confidence. Helping us out by lowering the grade boundaries is a win-win because this way, students reach their full potential without pushing their limits.
I fully support this petition. This exam was structured incorrectly on so many levels. The time required for this exam was at least 2 hours, not just 1 hour 30 minutes.
Edexcel, physics is needed for many courses in uni. This paper basically crossed out all my options.
We should be pushing student to pass and do well, yes I agree that a challenge is needed but don't make then do a paper that is really hard as it will really have an adverse effect on their self-esteem and with more papers to still do, it is terrible

The leaf and the droplets question was just so hard , unbearable . My parents are going to disown me if I get below C , I’m coming from an African family . Den get for beat me with da big big bod spoon .

Lower the grade boundaries to 40-45 being A for raw marks. The exam was pretty lengthy and the time period is really short.
