I have been reading through all of your messages today and it is clear that many students felt completely blindsided by these questions. I am currently compiling these accounts to send directly to the exam board so they see how much this impacted our actual grades.

I suffered through that exam just like the rest of you and I refuse to let our hard work be ignored. We are almost at five hundred signatures so please post the link on your feed right now to help us break through that barrier.

I am still thinking about how many of us left that exam hall feeling like the paper did not test what we actually studied. We are just a few signatures away from hitting our first milestone and gaining real attention from the board. Please send the link to your classmates right now so we can finally force a review of these unfair grade boundaries.

Absolutely pointless, been revising loads for unit 2 - getting papers marked from teachers and actually achieving A's but after this paper, was awful, the questions were horrible, i think AQA was drunk when thinking of questions! they should change the grade boundaries immediately, like 35 marks for an A ha, but no seriously change it.
I am personally very disappointed as they did not give us the chance to show the understanding of the knowledge learnt throughout the year! too many HSW questions...
I learnt so much knowledge for this exam and barely any came up!I think it's very unfair!
There were things that we weren't even prepared for and aren't mentioned in the spec how's that fair
Please lower the grade boundaries what I did was basically maths it did not cover half of the biology spec
That business question in the 2016 bio1 exam was awful. How dare they
The exam was awful and didn't cover very much, instead it asked badly worded, unrelated questions.

Revision was pointless. The precipitate haemoglobin question isn't even on the specification anywhere. No point in having a spec if you're not going to stick to it AQA. Ridiculous.
