Ofqual reviewed the Edexcel higher-tier paper in May and said that it was too difficult for what GCSE students have been studying in classes. They asked Edexcel to review the paper, however it the revised version of the paper wouldn't be ready until the end of June. This is appalling and disappointing. I just hope the examiner is kind and the grade boundaries are lowered.

This paper was terrible, way to difficult! please reduce the grade boundaries!

Way above gcse ability and not given enough time - no common questions eg simultaneous equations

That exam was a joke! Seriously, I hope hannah chokes on her sweets!

Although I found the paper alright, the "Hannah's sweets" question was beyond impossible in exam conditions, hence I am signing this petition. Next time, maybe giving us a head start to such a question, will be the way forward. Lets all hope for kind examiners now. :)
