With the unofficial mark scheme I worked out I have not achieved the A* I was hoping for despite getting 93-98 in every other past paper. If I cannot make up the marks in the second paper I will not be able to do further maths A-Level.

Ofqual reviewed the Edexcel higher-tier paper in May and said that it was too difficult for what GCSE students have been studying in classes. They asked Edexcel to review the paper, however it the revised version of the paper wouldn't be ready until the end of June. This is appalling and disappointing. I just hope the examiner is kind and the grade boundaries are lowered.

really knocked me up on this exam. Needing to get a B overall in order to take one of the subjects I need in order to persuee my career, but some of the questions on here were beyond GCSE level.
