I am signing this petition because that maths GCSE was a disgusting myth. On my timetable it said YEAR 11 GCSE MATHS i did not expect to see ALEVEL MATHS with Sarah and her sweets. Myself and my entire year studied every previous maths paper inside out, familiarised with topics, feeling confident when we walked it. After making a clear comparison between every single paper i have ever sat for maths this was by far the hardest. Us students do NOT want to resort in retaking maths in sixth just because of edexcel. we refuse to do that. we have worked our butts off for 2 years and this is what we get! A hideous paper. Therefore the grade boundaries have to be lowered to atleast apologise for that disastrous exam

The majority of the paper was fair and it was more than within my capability, but some of the questions like Hannah's sweets question and the grain question were hard to get my head around.

Honestly ridiculous. And saying that just because they're capable of doing them, everyone else should be too. There's a difference between a 40 and a 16 year old.
Hannah can keep all her sweets, thank you very much.

I believe it is unfair to put content that was not even in the revision guide and was not taught to us. APPALLED.
