I am a mature student, who studied maths 6 years ago.
I work in a professional setting and have various high-end qualifications.
When I did this course 6 years aho there were no questions like this. So why on this paper?
GCSE is 'General Certificate of Secondary Education'. Not 'make it really hard and difficult'.

I Think This Is Stupid, A-Level Students Are Meant To Know This, We Are GCSE Students There's A Few Years Difference! I Think The Standards Should Be Lowered It Is Getting Too Out Of Hand! Every Year The Standards Are Getting Higher And Higher, And The Students That Are Learning Have More And More To Revise Seriously?! Lower The Standards!

That paper was ridiculous. It will be incredibly unfair if the boundaries are the same as they usually are.

The paper was really difficult...I revised a lot for this exam and i was completely disappointed with the questions and in all my mocks I got A's and A* and now I am worried if I will pass... This is ridiculous and all the students DEMAND for very low grade boundaries..

I've always struggled with maths and in the lead up to this paper I revised continually day and night. The moment I opened the first page I knew I wasn't in for an easy sitting, please consider the less able of the mathematical academia and lower the boundaries.
