Please lower taxes . Scarsdale residents cannot have taxes go up more than they already are!!

we all know the budget process is a difficult one with no easy answers. as the economic fall out from the pandemic has unfolded, seems like an appropriate time to do whatever possible to lighten the already substantial tax burden on the villager.

The village absolutely should save small dollars here and there, but most importantly it should make an effort to oppose the biggest expense -- DEFINED BENEFIT PENSIONS. Most taxpayers make do with defined contribution plans, having lost their employer defined benefit plans many years ago.

There are rarely good times to raise taxes. There are, however, awful times. Now is one of them.

Please work to lower our tax at this difficult time. Thank you.

This is NOT the time to be creating slush funds aka money for Freightway redevelopment and other wasteful allocations.

I have a 1100 square foot residence and am paying almost 20k/yr. in taxes!

In these dire circumstances, many people in Scarsdale very probably lost their jobs or are having trouble making ends meet. We have to be mindful of the residents of our Village. Our First Responders are doing an awsome job. Thank you to our Sanitation crew, and all the services that make Scarsdale an amazing place to live.

All of us, if not most, have taken a salary cut. Agree 100% with not taking more from us when there is no intention to spend it. That's inappropriate and unconscionable.

We all need to make tough choices in light of COVID. It was difficult for us before COVID and now its matter of moving from the community which is disruptive to our children

we are all suffering during this difficult time. While risking their lives, Doctors and nurses are getting pay cuts.
