Despite long and countless revision hours, I don't think I could have prepared more for what this paper had to offer. The layout, questions and number of marks per question have all changed. If an examining board is changing its style of examining, then it it's self should be tested before using an unstable and ludicrously harder paper on real students. Unfair

I believe that the CHEM4 paper was extremely unfair as the wording and layout of the questions was completely different from previous Years, which I and all candidates have been practicing. Moreover, there was not enough time to answer questions for example short one mark questions required more time than necessary.

We did not get enough time for these questions. Too many one and two markers that had to take a lot longer than expected. Too application based and a lot harder than previous exams.

Why are the examiners producing questions that the children have not covered, it is totally unfair and will ruin some, off there opportunity to go to a good university!!

I rebuke this paper and shall not let it judge my ability regarding chemistry as only the lord and saviour is righteous to do so.

HORRIBLE PAPER, it's a slap in the face when you've revised so much and you feel like it was for nothing- thanks a lot AQA, you're awesome for ruining things.

Very difficult and not like any of the past papers, wording was difficult to interpret. 9 marks just on H+ NMR and weird 2 markers towards the beginning Just overall a shocking unit 4 paper.

ITS NOT A NEW SPEC THAT U STRUCTURE Q's DIFFERENTLY. WHEN HAS NMR EVER BEEN STRUTURED LIKE THAT.

I am very disappointed with aqa for putting together this hope and confidence killing paper. I believe that aqa will do something to rectify this situation however we will now never know how well we really could have done. I could not complete this paper where all other timed papers I did were completed with at least 20 minutes to spare. People actually burst out in tears during the exam today in total despair and helplessness.
