The mechanisms that came up were not on the specification! The questions were too vague, there wasn't enough time to answer it all. Section B was only split into two questions yet had a lot of marks so answers were difficult to structure.

Definitely agree. So different to every other past paper so we weren't properly prepared for it. Why give us so many applications why not just test us on what the specification says because AQA ask us to bother to learn all that?! Absolutely horrendous paper and really unfair for the amount of content in the time. Difficult to finish.

A really hard paper so many 1 mark questions that required a long time to get the answer time consuming paper.

Extremely difficult paper. Very different from previous past papers. I need high grades to go to university and I won't get them unless the grade boundaries are lowered. It is unfair because I had worked so hard!

Too much application in this paper. Nothing like the past papers which everyone was getting high As/A*s in. No way I can get my AAA offer to go to London for university. Please lower the grade boundaries.

This was a ridicoulous paper. Really I am shocked I had memorized the text book from back to front, for what reason ? What kind of atrocity are you showing to the students who I know 100% put in hours of revision on buffer calculations, and other topics that are actually IN the spec, only to be treated to this farce. I would demand an immediate resit if I was being as unrational as the people who made this paper were, but a VERY lowered grade boundary is the least we deserve.

No amount of extra preparation could have prepared me for this exam, and i go to a grammar school
