My daughter took this paper yesterday and found it extremely hard as did all the other students !!

The lives of many people will be ruined when they realise they won't make their grades to get into university. Its acceptable to test other areas of knowledge in a different style, but the paper was unrecognisable compared to any from previous years. Hard work has gone to waste as this could not have been prepared for. I was getting mid 90 in every past paper. Now I'm worried I might not even get an A let alone an A*. Disgraceful.

Completely different structure and format to past papers, half of the spec was missing and too many application questions

The changing of the way the exam is set and the questions are worded especially when it is the last year for the spec and students not having any prior knowledge of this is unacceptable. Students who need the high grades to get onto their causes are going to be the ones that suffer as a result of this and this includes me as well.

So unfair, totally demoralising for all the hard work before hand that the students put in! Jeopardising a lot of potential university places. My daughter was getting A/A*s in many many past papers, has spent weeks and months of non stop revising, nothing could have prepared her for this paper. Please do something about it

Chemistry paper had questions which students were not prepared for and have not been in past papers. Not fair on students who are applying for universities.

This is unfair for students to be asked questions which have never been done in the past papers which has left them unprepared for the chemistry paper and this has put them into a difficult position as they feel they will not meet their target grade for the university of their choice.

An excessively difficult paper.
Considerable hours of revision could not have prepared you for it.

There go my results, that I worked ridiculously hard for. I don't think any more revision could have prepared me for this exam. I feel cheated. AQA shouldn't be able to roll the dice because we're the last year doing this specification.
