XXX Lower grade boundaries for CHEMISTRY UNIT 4 2016

This is totally unfair

The paper was mentally frustrating for many people I know, with some students crying in the hall. Exams should challenge our knowledge not give us mental breakdowns

That paper was so hard especially the last 2 question. And there was no buffer questions.

I've completed every single past paper since jan10, but this was by far the most demanding, time challenging and off-topic exam yet. Really disappointed to say the least that my hard work has gone to waste.

This paper was disproportionately more difficult than any other chem 4 paper I have ever done, and I have done all of them at least twice. I felt like many major topics were not covered and students not given a chance to gain adequate marks. The grade boundaries should be lowered considerably to ensure students still receive their required grades, which I think AQA have sabotaged.

Death by lidocaine

This paper was an absolute joke!! Most of the questions were out of the spec and had no relevance to the spec whatsoever. A whole year of studying Chemistry in school for a paper like that which had nothing I have learned is an absolute disgrace and I am still feeling disgusted even though I have a Biology exam tomorrow! The grade boundaries must be the record low or I will make sure further action is taken because it is unfair to thousands of us students who work and study hard to be treated like this.

Horrible paper. Couldn't have gone worse

disgusting. I tried so hard in the preparation, paid for a tutor, but hardly any of the topics in the specification appeared. This exam does not reflect those who've worked hard.

This exam was horrendus

I was really shocked when I saw the paper as there was hardly anything in it that should have been. A certain few questions come up year after year, yet none of those did this time. There may not even be a chance of a resit next year due to the change in specification. I am really hoping to get into university but those chances have gone after this, I am honestly so confused as to why AQA did this

too hard

The paper did not cover all the topics from the specification and instead focused on newer questions of a different style. The 9 marker took too long to complete that I ran out of time. The exam was not representative of usual unit 4 exams.

The paper was really hard n its format was different

A lot harder than previous papers. Expected too much from the time slot given.

I thought this paper was truly unjust & an unfair way of testing students. This paper made it impossible to finish in the time & missed out large sections of the syllabus. This was like none of the other papers & some of the questions were like deciphering riddles. I think the only way to make up in anyway for this unfair test is to make the grade boundaries much lower than usual. Yours sincerely M.B
