The paper had too much application and could have easily been 2x harder than ANY previous AQA Chemistry Unit 4 exam.

It was just nothing like the other papers at all. So much harder. SO scared of not meeting my offer now.

I thought the paper was very difficult, and for example the calculation of the orders the for the rate equation was a stupid and over difficult question

I couldn't agree more with your comments. Lets all hope for a lower grade boundary or I think we will all be garbage collectors soon.

No past papers could prepare me for this, question style and layout was completely different, an A grade last year is disproportionate to an A grade this year so exams like this do not reflect the true nature of a student's academic ability, it does not seem standardised at all. Why change the paper style and question style so drastically for the same course, this is not the other new course and so it should not be altered as such. Aqa ruining futures..

I felt so disheartened by this exam. I have never revised for an exam as much as I did for chem 4, and it was so upsetting to feel as if none of it was worth it because all of the paper was on application questions. Additionally, there were so many 1 or 2 mark questions that it was ridiculously hard to complete the paper in the usual time - it's just not possible to be able to switch your attention from one thing to another so quickly. I feel that AQA should definitely lower the grade boundaries to avoid shattering the dreams of thousands of students.

Ran out of time to complete last question and to go over previous questions, my dreams of veterinary have gone down the drain

Stupidly hard paper, no amount of past papers could have helped with this paper. Structure was completely different to what we're used to. Not a fair test of chemistry knowledge.
