Exams should replicate what we have learned and should not deliberately set students up to fail

Sort it out aqa!

My daughter is a very intelligent girl but came home very down hearted as she found the wording to the questions very confusing and the timings were not sufficient enough to answer the questions !!!!!

From 2010 to 2015 all the other past papers pale in comparison to this, people had nervous breakdowns and some couldn't finish the paper. The questions were unnecessarily hard and awkward worded and too many questions were guess work, everybody in that exam hall ran out of time!

I found that the exam was unfair

AQA Chem 4 was impossible. I am not going to uni this year all because of AQA and their messed up exams! Get your brains checked AQA

I think it's wrong that they ask questions on things that they haven't been taught, an exam should replicate what the pupils have learnt

I want to have a future

I only just finished even with 25% extra time, there were a lot of 1 mark questions which took a lot of time to work out. With the 9 mark question at the end it was difficult to know how to structure it and what to explain and what not to explain (considering that there was limited space and time).

bullcrap paper, wasted 2 years for those questions

This paper was horrific, the questions were very difficult and looking back the grade boundaries NEED to be lowered, or we should have been given more time. This paper caused unnecessary stress, heartache and the worry of it jeopardising our future is pain enough. This is not what the education system is about.

AQA are ruining people's chances of getting into university!!

I also did the A2 chem 4 exam on Tuesday.

Student should be tested on the breadth of the curriculum and have the opportunity to show the hard work & knowledge they have acquired and worked for , not just have a paper full of A & A* questions, that destroy confidence and mental health of all but the very very brightest.
