This paper was just something else. I'm predicted an A* in chemistry after that exam I doubt I'm even getting a B. I missed out some questions and before I even got to the 9 marker time was up so I've basically left out around 25 marks. This paper was no where near the level of difficulty for the past 10 years. I've done all papers twice from Jan 2010 to June 2015, but this paper was just something else; the structure, wording, amount of application questions. It felt like I studied the aqa syllabus then had done a chem paper for a different exam bored.

changed the complete structure to that of the new syllabus so can possibly use it as specimen paper when you should leave the structure of our current syllabus alone

An A star student came out of this exam in tears as 6 months of revision was wasted due to poor questions. She needs an A in this subject to go on to study medicine and this style of questioning is totally disheartening

This paper was nothing compared to past papers, it was very difficult overall.

I didn't get to properly attempt question 9 and the rest of it was nothing like the other past papers .

Paper was not impossible but it was in no way easy. After having done so many past papers and becoming use to a particular way of questions, they went and really threw a spanner in the works. I think above all else, that is what annoys people most about this paper, that is certainly the thing I most disliked about the paper!!!

I wish aqa would have inserted some lube as well as a data sheet, so that i could lower the pain of this paper f**king my backside

It was really hard and unfair grade boundaries should be lowered!

Exams are there to test students - not trick them. The boundary lines must be re-drawn to compensate for unfair question setting.
