Exam was too hard. The hardest chemistry exam unit 4 I can ever imagine. Worst nightmare ever. I am well disappointed with AQA. Please do lower the grades

Completely agree. The exam did not test a wide enough range of knowledge that is otherwise expected off of a typical student.

I understand that exams have to evolve, but why make such a radical step change in content and emphasis so suddenly? It's so unfair on the students who are already under so much stress, and with more exams still to come. Why did AQA want to make my hard working daughter cry after this exam, having dilligently prepared for it.

The fact that there was so many short answer question and one 9 MARK question is very unfair. To my knowledge there has never been a 9 mark question on proton n.m.r so there was no way of revising for it or knowing what the examiner was looking for.

Not testing students on the relevant content they have studies is not a test of their academic abilities. What is the point of sitting an exam with questions you have never seen before.

This was the worst thing I've ever done which is saying something.I reckon i cud manipulate Aqa in to lowering the grade boundaries tho so shut be snd. The only thing that helps is writing my pain into a diary & that Jess my love did bad.
