As a tourist who's visited Dublin twice and am planning on coming again I would miss the markets. I've bought things in the past and like to support the vendors when I'm in town. Please don't shut them down.

Love this market, it's great place for visitors to experience the real Dublin. I just love the setting, the atmosphere & the stall holders are what makes it so special. Save this treasure.

Markets are so important to a city, it's a place where people can meet local makers, crafts people and start ups , great for community and tourists alike and support small businesses that may not be able to compete with larger corporations

The Dublin Flea Market has been an incredibly well run market with a strong social ethos. It has allowed small businesses to thrive and also to fail without too much pain. If this is lost it will not be easily recreated. Support markets and give some extra support for the excellent Dublin Flea Market.

Interestingly, other major cities that I've lived in have struggled to find ways to bring local markets back to town, and the often get shunted to small, out-of-the-way areas that are more difficult to get to. Local markets allow locals to meet, exchange ideas and art, start new businesses, and constantly renew the energy of the community.
