This kid made it through four years and apparently excelled at musical theater. He deserves to be at that award ceremony. His being Gay doesn't really dose not fall into the category of misbehavior...unless you are blocking any people who have had sex, gay or straight. Otherwise you are breaking you owe rules on bullying

Honestly, there is nothing more gay than a musical! Just watch the Tony Awards on June 7th. Let Bryce attend the Pony Awards. He's not contagious!

It is not very Christian to exclude a fellow human been from a secular community activity and to make them feel unwanted and unworthy.

This just makes me sad to have grown up in the same city.

All I can say is that this makes me sad how hypocritical providence is. Jesus associated with miscreants, criminals, & prostitutes. Baring someone you think is "morally inferior" from a social event is not exhibiting the christ like behavior you try to instill in your students.

Our faith is in our Lord Jesus. As we are all broken sinners. I pray you place little value on these lost souls that speak not of His love, for we know by reading the bible and standing in His light that you are loved .

welcome 'out' to the world. I stand by you, schools like this have to join the 21'st century and understand that being different IS normal. Enjoy life by being who you are!

Bryce exhibits more "Christlike" behavior than the administration of Providence High School and the school board.

Stone Age ignorance is not an honorable stance for any educational institution. Recognize the facts of modern medical health science and modern mental health science. Religious superstitions are the enemy of human progress.

I also attended providence and this was not at all well handled. I would expect them to show more Christ like love for their students both past and present.

As a gay man who went to a Christian school in Georgia my entire life, I can relate to Bryce. God bless, honey. It'll be all right! Many people who call themselves Christians have never read (or just don't follow) how Jesus taught us to treat each other in the Gospels. It's all right there, but they don't get it...

Seems a bit stupid that you banned a student that no longer attended your school for something he is. The biggest bullies have management status and abuse it.

I am appalled by this school's actions. Bryce should know that many, many people would stand up for him.

Not giving an award of any sort just because someone comes out as gay is just plain discrimination. For a musical it's just plain crazy!
