Thank you Bryce for showing kindness and compassion to your oppressors. You are an intelligent young man and will go far in this world. Wishing you a great college experience from New Carrollton, MD

Equality is essential. Love yourself and your neighbors, and keep an open mind, heart and arms always because this world is cruel.

in my 95 years I have witnessed all kinds of reactions to issues, some have shown kindness and maturity some have shown bias and ugliness. In Bryce's case he has shown maturity and dignity, but Providence that has been connected to Bryce and his family for the past 12 years has not lived up to the biblical priorities of their teaching. For that reason I am disappointed with their reaction. I am very proud of the close friendship our family has with this upstanding young man., and of the young man himself! He has brought honor on the school with his hard work, intellect and wit. Go Bryce!

It's disgraceful. Come to Ireland my friend.in the last 2 weeks we've fully legalised gay marriage (first country in the world) you are welcome here with open arms and love. From the gay community and the straight community that support you for you.

I came out at a late age and still wasn't accepted by everyone. Unfortunately that's life sweetie. Best advise I've ever received is do what makes YOU happy and forget the rest. Sadly Christians are the most judgmental people we will come across. Matthew 7: 1-3

God is love. No matter what. Unfortunately a lot of Christians are not as loving.

Jesus said to love all people. Jesus washed the feet of a whore. Jesus is not hate. This is coming from an atheist, who apparently can see more beauty and love in Christianity than these bigots.

I gotta quote the amazing and loving Carol Anne: "What would Jesus do? He'd shake his head and say, 'Why did you select one group of God's children to separate from the others and shame?'..." The people leading this school must be ignorant, fearful, and money hungry. Not very 'Christ-like'. Hope they apologize, learn, and accept all students.

As both a Christian as well as someone who identifies as a lesbian, this school is absolutely absurd for the actions they have taken against the student. As Christians we are supposed to love one another. No matter if said Christians disagree with the other person's lifestyle or not. By excluding the student from activities, they are showing that they do not love the student. In fact, they are going against God's will. I will pray for the school and the school board that they see how wrong they are doing.

The gospel of Christ is a message of love and acceptance. Mocking, judging, and discriminating against homosexuals, transsexuals or any other members of the LGBT community is not part of God's message and is not a Christ-like characteristic.

I am a young straight Christian woman but i 100% support this! Love is love and no one should be judged for who they are! The bible says its not our place to judge anyone and we all need to remember that!

I'm a former student of Providence and recent graduate in Ministry, I loved that school and the teachers there. I know this isn't how all of the staff would have handled this. I know this for a fact because most of the faculty displayed the kind of Christian Love that this petition is calling for. I'm enraged that this is happening. Represent Christ, not your own agenda and fear.

If the school is treating you this way merely because you are gay, they are assuming that you are morally deficient automatically simply because of this one aspect. Anyone follows The Golden Rule "boldly model(s) Christ-likeness."

i attended New Life for over a year until I heard anti gay comments from other people in the church. They preach love, but they practice it. They are hypocrites.
