Shame on Providence. What hypocrites they are...certainly not a Christ-like action. I will pray for this school. And to Bryce, you have my full support.

And they call themselves "Christians". Christ welcomed everyone including prostitutes and other society rejects. If he were alive today he would never associate with these people and what they've done to you ... funny how they conveniently forget 'Love thy neighbor' and 'Judge not, that ye be not judged.' They do not live Jesus's teachings, only use them to spew their hate. What a sad world.

Exclusion certainly is not a 'bold Christ-like witness'. Rather it is based on one interpretation of biblical standards but is not "Christ-like".

This is sad. People should really get onto the whole Jesus-the-Nice-Hippie stuff, versus the mad, homophobic simpletons who wrote the Old Testament.

I have friends that attend providence and love it there. But I don't agree with discriminating against students because of who they are. If it really is a School for god they should accept and love everyone.

I love you so much for standing up and doing this petition for your faith or for what you are. I am also a fellow Catholic student and Christian student who understands this problem. I will support you through anything and I hope you reach your goal.

"For the love of Christ" is more than a meaningless expression.
This is an example of Christian bullying from people who have little concept of what true Christianity means.
WWJD? Definitely not this.

to loves other unconditionally is to be closer to Christ. If providence thinks otherwise maybe they should flip through the bible again.

No child should ever be ostracized or excluded. I am appalled by the behavior of people who claim to "boldly model Christ-likeness." I firmly believe that Christ would welcome every single soul. You are beautiful just the way God made you - even when some "christians" can't see that!

As a Christian I support this petition. This culture of bullying and discrimination against the LGBT community ,especially in schools, needs to stop. I pray for more progress in Jax my hometown.

GOD IS LOVE! he loves everyone no matter what! Isn't that what the Christian principles are based on?
I am very mad about this! No wonder people want nothing to do with Christians. I will pray for this school and the staff
