The school should not punish a student for honestly telling people how God-who-loves-us-all created him! Jesus would not reject this child, nor should the school he attends. In God's Holy and Awesome Name!

It's just wrong. For the man with no sin, cast the first stone.

I feel this student was treated unfairly and that Providence needs to re think their actions. Love the sinner and hate the sin. Not sure how forbidding someone attendance at a school function because of their sexual orientation reflects the love of Jesus Christ.

Such injustice! In Christ there is no condemnation only love and acceptance. School board needs to examine its morality and consider what effect their immoral decision has upon gay students.

it's time for this atrocious intolerance to end. The school administrators have no business modeling hatred and bullying for children.

Keep this petition going. Stand up for rights, What he did on his own Twitter page is his business, not the business of the school and should not have been kept out of the awards show.

What the school did is a horrendous act usually only seen in extremely conservative religious states!

It is amazing the hypocritical thinking, words and actions by Dr. Julie Giardino and the Providence School. In this day and age, being "gay" is not a big deal and is the right of every human on the planet. God loves everyone and hopefully one day you crazies will figure it out. Christians and other religious entities pick and choose the words of their religion to fit their particular agenda which is wrong in every sense of the word. They all should be ashamed for their ignorance and owe Bryce an apology as well as admittance back into the school Not that he would even want to attend or be a part of such an entity with hypocritical values and rules. At least I wouldn't. I sure hope Bryce is able to find a new school that is both Tolerant and will give him the education he deserves. Hang in there Bruce and do not let scum like this change the way you view people and the world. Not everyone thinks or acts like these people and hopefully many more will come and sign the petition..
