I come from Canada 2 to 3 time a year spend a good amount of money and enjoy fishing all over and cant see this doing any good for the public to do what they enjoy doing.

We need to keep waters open. We spend 10k to 100k on our boats alone, let alone the money we dump into the local economies just to enjoy recreational fishing. This helps support waterway improvement/maintenence along with all other benefits of 'bonus' money in these areas (supporting small, local, family owned businesses, values of property [due to funds for improvement], ect)

This is the right of the people who pay taxes to maintain the coast to fish our waters, unless it's during hunting season on a duck lease and interfering with a hunt.

I hope the law is changed to where if it is navigable waters you can fish it. I have been a native to South Louisiana my whole life. As a kid coming up I shared many memories with my dad and grandpa. I have a daughter of my own now and would like to build memories with her as well. Without having to worry about getting run off or a citation for fishing waters that free flows from our river and gulf that backs up in marsh. I understand people own or lease the land but they don't own the water.

I fish with a local resident blocking off canals that are full of water is not smart for the state these laws prevent people from fishing which cost the state money because people won't come back over stupid laws. It's the only state that allows this bull. For better outdoors take a kid hunting & fishing it's our future! Randy

It is sad to see wealth and greed making advances over common citizens. I love to hunt and fish, but can not afford to "buy" into private lands in order to enjoy the outdoors. My family and I have to rely on public resources and every year they get more and more restricted. Please open the waters of South Louisiana back up!!!!!

Born and raised in Louisiana I live in Kentucky now but we frequent Lafitte every year for fishing. I know many others including residents that enjoy those water ways. I fish from Michigan to La and Louisiana is the only state I have fished that you can own the water????

We travel from Tennessee to come down and fish these waters. We bring it plenty on revenue for small business and people when we come down and spent several days to a week at a time to come fish.
