No one owns the water. Unless it's a pond on a private property. This has gone to far.

It's time to open canals to fishermen so we can take out our kids do something with them and keep them off the streets

The gating of canals has to stop.. If tidal waters can move in and out of a canal the public should also be allowed to navigate it.

I think not only the canals should be public... But all of the marshes also. How can something be public for many years and then someone can decide to make it private?

Our waterways are being stripped away from us by illegally putting up gates across canals. This has to stop!

There should be no gates on navigable waterways. I pay taxes just like most people and public waterways are just that, public. Meaning that they are free to use by we, the people
