When a canal is created on private lands it is public water that flows into such! Should I be allowed to restrict planes flying through the air space over my house?

If its tidal you should be able to navigate it and or fish it. Before and after hunting season.

I pay way more taxes than most individuals. I was an avid outdoorsman until my back was damaged when I was hit at a red light by a kid texting. Saying tat my fondest childhood was fishing in the marsh with my dad. The only obstacles were the tide and oyster reefs. We owned a camp that we left open for fishermen in need and yes it was looted several times but we had several people who also left thank you notes too. The Louisiana coast is a gift to everyone and should be shared by all. I can tell you, it angers me that a hand full of people think everything belongs to them. Wake up, No one on this planet owns anything, God will eventually take it away from you I promise! The only thing you truly should cherish in life is memories. Like myself, someone took away the gift of the great outdoors from me but they can not take away those amazing memories. God bless, Joe M

People may own the land but cannot own the water. Once one the water legally the only restrictions should be for personal protection, spillways etc.

For the people, by the people! Taxpayers should never own nor restrict any federally owned navigable waterway!

Take down the gates and allow access. The fish belong to all of us.
