Lorraine Lakes Widespread Grass Issue

Large patches of dead grass and monthly work orders to address sprinkler heads. We have a large lot on a curve so the patches are fairly large all around the house

Dead grass since we closed. Lennars and HOAs fault. But the wonderful liars in the HOA tell me my grass is alive and well. They dont live here so lets not let them get away with our dead yards.

Based on details many have shared, if pests can be proven to be the major cause of damage, this responsibility should be pushed to Artistree. I plan to ask for copy of contract language for review

Dead and dying sod since January 23.

It is very frustrating to have to constantly call for someone to spray for cinch bugs, for plugged sprinklers, etc. We were promised a maintenance free and it’s been a headache, maintaining the grass.

Our grass in LL community is really awful. Our voice speak laud to make a change for a new and healthy grass.

We dont have grass. We have weeds and it looks and feels horrible.

I have email correspondence to prove they knew about a damaged water line the week after my sod was laid and I was moving in. The grass never took amongst my yard and the 4 houses in line with mine. Our grass is dead, diseased and spreading. Opened multiple tickets and was led to believe they would come out the next month and the next month. The HOA even fired our initial landscaping company when this was brought to their attention. Let’s stand up and get this right for our community

My grass is about 70%gone in my backyard.

We have now paid several thousand dollars to try and keep our grass alive and the weeds away, we have replaced several patches of grass with new pallets. I have been told that the species of so we have was not right for our full son yard.

Lawn received no sprinklers all summer. Put in numerous work orders. Lost front lawn. Had to replace out of my own pocket. Later after replacement hoa determined that the Solenoid that would have turned my sprinklers on was not working. So wouldn’t that be on hoa. Apparently not. Not happy.

I pay yard maintenance in my hoa and I have put in countless tickets that get ignored. Someone came by in July to look at dead spots in my front yard and I got excuses after excuses and told I’m responsible. If my yard was properly maintained and sprinklers and irrigation were running properly it never would have got as bad as its current state. Artistree mowers will RUN OVER the dead yard kicking up my landscaping and sand everywhere.

I 100% agree with Alex. I recently attended a meeting at Amenity Center where Lennar and HOA will not take responsibility of the situation. We all pay HOA fees to insure the quality of our community. In the meantime, the equity and value of our community has been diminished.
