This is malfeasance and it's foul. I hope this unjust law is repealed. Americans pay enough in taxes to never have to worry about homelessness or hunger, and yet, millions face exactly that in this country.
If federal agencies would simply be more responsible in their fiduciary duties and stop mismanaging America's tax dollars, we wouldn't have half the problems we do. Taking from the sick and vulnerable while simultaneously barring marriage for the disabled via the threat of ruin and death (loss of health insurance) is simply shameful. Shame on the Social Security Administration.

I agree this is not right, I have a son who is visionly disabled and also diabetic. He depends on other people for daily help and for transportation. He draws off of me and depends on me for help and transportation. He wants to get marry, if he is able to get married then his wife will be the one to help him. To force him to not marry so he can keep getting ssdi, would go again his his beliefs and rights.

this is so wrong. My daughter falls in this category and cannot marry her fiancé because of it. He is her main care provider and cannot work full time and earn enough money/healthcare to support her and take care of her too.
