Outrageous. Coming from a disabled person trying to get SSDI on my own work record I cannot imagine a person having been disabled since childhood being forced to start this horrendous process just for finding love from an able bodied person. Not all able bodied people make grand money let alone enough to support those of us who have special needs. Ridiculous.

As someone directly affected by this discrimination, I am appalled by the hoops that the disabled are expected to jump through just to verify “we aren’t taking advantage of the system” to the OUR government. Policies like this and means testing are so degrading and prohibitive to our very existence. We need equality!
