The law seems to be the same for me having obtained SSDI on my own record. I will still lose my SSI and Medicaid if I marry my fiancé. But yes, we cannot get married as we wish and it’s so wrong. I hope we both see this change and can marry the people we love!

Please let these folks get married & allow them to keep their benefits. You are taking away what God intended them to do by holding back their benefits.

I have 2 sons, 27 and 26, with Autism I would hope they can marry whom ever they love.
