Air brakes use can also be avoided by installing Amber flashing lights that activate 50m before traffic lights to indicate trucks to start slowing down for a changing to red lights. Help the residents but also help the drivers!

Freeway trucks, designer motorbikes and speeding/hoon cars generate an unacceptable noise load on residents as well.

there is a definite noise issue with trucks using air breaks , not only in Lorimer St, but on the freeway behind it. The empty trucks using Lorimer St also make a lot of noise going over the manhole covers. Sleeping is definitely an issue!

Its 2020 and we still have to deal with theses issues. Electric trucks can't come soon enough.

Very difficult to sleep at night due to traffic noise. The signs should also specify the speed limit which should be enforced!!

This is a dense residential area and the air brakes negatively affects quality of life for all who reside here.
