The purpose of this petition is to show community support for pets to be allowed in our beach parks.
Facts: Our beaches are private and are not governed by Health Departments
Michigan has 27 dog-friendly public beaches, 58 public dog parks and numerous restaurants and shops that allow pets within them.
To aide our neighbors with pet clean up, our neighborhood could invest in dog waste stations that vary in cost from $60 - $200 / station for each park (3).
By signing this petition, you support Dogs being allowed in our beach parks.
If you support limited time access (before 7am, after 7pm) OR limited park access (designated pet areas), please answer YES OR NO in the answer area to those questions.
